Toddlers CARE-Index with frustration and repair task (TCI)
The TCI, with the addition of the “frustration & repair” task, enables professionals to use a 5-minute procedure to estimate 2-5 year-olds’ attachment strategy with their parents. That is, the TCI provides information about both interaction and attachment and extends this to 5 years of age.
When: the course will consist of 6 days (June 17-22). We will begin on June 17 at 1pm, and close on June 22 at 1pm. During the intervening days, there will be coding in the morning and instruction in the afternoon.
Where: Tavistock Centre, London.

Language: the course will be in English, although the interactions will be in several languages. From prior experience, we know that mixed cultural groups are the most exciting, and we hope many of you will be able to attend and enjoy meeting colleagues from different countries and viewing interactions from varied cultures.
What to bring: 1 clinical and 1 normative interaction or 1 dyad pre- and post-intervention (2 videos) on DVD or USB drive, with consent forms.
Cost: the cost is £600 including coffee/tea. The reliability test is included if completed within 2 months.
