Toddler CARE-Index clinic – online training

The Toddler CARE-Index (TCI) is a clinical and research tool used to screen for risk and guide intervention in normative and at-risk dyads. The TCI assesses child attachment and adult-infant interaction from 15-72 months using 5-minute video-recorded play interactions. Note: The TCI is not yet fully validated and relies on the Infant CARE-Index and Strange Situation for its validity.

FRI offers a TCI Clinic by Zoom. It consists of 8 meetings, each of which will involve coding and discussing 1 clinical TCI.

Prerequisite: the clinic training is open to everyone who already took the Toddler CARE-Index course.

The course is open to anyone who wants to:

• practice coding clinical TCIs
• have their TCI coded
• consider becoming a TCI trainer

Dates and time: the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month, beginning September 9, 2021.

Thursdays, 6pm Italy (Sep 9 & 23, Oct 7 & 21, Nov 4 & 18, Dec 2 & 16, 2021)

The meetings will be 60 minutes in English for everyone, followed by 30 minutes in breakout rooms by language (Italian, Spanish, etc.).

Cost: the cost is €400. There will be an added cost to submit a TCI for coding and discussion.
